Group Email

Page history last edited by Nancy McClements 15 years, 4 months ago

Wisconsin Women Library Workers has an e-mail group list that is used as a communications tool for WWLW. News about upcoming feminist events, political alerts, and reminders of WWLW activities can be sent to all members at once by using this address.

Frequently asked questions about the WWLW group e-mail list:

  • What is the address of the list?

    wwlw-list@lists.danenet.org

  • Can anyone send a message to the list?

No. You must be a member to send a message. If you would like a member to forward your message to the list, we will consider it. Please send it to a member of the Steering Committee.

  • How do I get added to the list?

You are added automatically when you become a WWLW member (unless you request otherwise).

  • If my e-mail address changes, whom do I notify?

Send a message to both Nancy McClements (to change the group list) and Marge Loch-Wouters (to change the WWLW Directory).

  • How do I get deleted from the list?

If you would like to be excluded, please send a message to Nancy McClements to be deleted.

  • Will my email address be automatically deleted if I do not renew my membership?

Not automatically--you will receive a friendly reminder.

  • Is the list moderated?

No. Please use your judgment before sending a message to the entire list

  • Can I read the archives?

Members with passwords may read the archives at http://lists.danenet.org/private.cgi/wwlw-list-danenet.org

Please contact Nancy McClements for information on obtaining a password.
